What was your inspiration for this novel?

Life is unpredictable and I wanted to highlight this, along with character growth throughout the trilogy. Leah Parker had her life all mapped out, until things take a downward spiral one morning during her 21st birthday. I wanted to showcase a young woman that is far from perfect, yet continues to learn from her mistakes as life forces her to evaluate everything about herself and her past.
